It is always a great privilege to be asked by the Law Society to be one of the team taking part in the
London Legal Walk in aid of legal aid charities. This is the second year I have taken part in the walk, and it is surprising how
quickly you can walk around so many of the top tourist attractions like Horseguards Parade, Buckingham Palace, Green Park,
The Strand and The Mall.
It is a 10 kilometre course starting from the Royal Courts of Justice; this year all of the Law Society team managed to do the whole course in less than 2 hours.
This is really quite a fast walk; President Paul Marsh and CEO Desmond Hudson set the team off at a cracking pace.
We were rewarded for our efforts with a welcome drink at the Law Society - a most worthwhile event both for our own physical
fitness and for the charity money raised. I look forward to taking part again next year. Why not diary it forward and join in?

These 'living statues' were the best I've ever seen - so realistic they made several people jump.
Quite scrum to get an official photo taken and be off to be ahead of the other 3,500 walkers
A great route, worth bearing in mind for your
own leisurely tour of the best sights in the worlds greatest and greenest city
Everyone was invited back to the Law Society for a well earned drink...even the statues took the opportunity to up plinths
